HOPE Church - Future Home

HOPE Church intend to construct a campus (as seen in the image) that will house both the Church and the School.  As a Church with mainly Liberia immigrant membership, we recognized the need of evangelism in the country. We seek to preach the gospel and to reach the unreached communities and provide Christ-centered biblical teachings through our ministries.

We also recognize the need for quality secondary education in Liberia. We therefore seek to establish secondary Christian-education institutions along with our Churches.

The Mission Stories

Stories like these drives HOPE Church to establish a school to help change the lives of the few we can touch. Come along (partner with us as) as we seek to carry out this kingdom driven initiative. The school HOPE Church intends to build will cater to the needs like children in stories below.

Meet 14 yrs. Old Samuel. I met Samuel at the Church construction site. He was with the workers and working on a day a child his age should be in School. I asked Samuel, “are you not in School”? Sadly, Samuel answered, “I stopped in the 4th grade”. I pushed back, “what do you mean”? Samuel answered, “my parents cannot afford to send me to School, so I go around to find work in order to survive”.

I immediately responded, “you did not stop in the 4th grade; you are in the 4th grade”. I told Samuel not to return to the construction site going forward; not just that I will pay his fees to get back in School. Thank God for provision and Samuel in back in School.

Amos 1

I also met little Amos (11 yrs. Old) commonly called “community mechanic”. Amos is in School, but he must work at his father’s auto repair garage every day after he leaves School and during the weekends.

No child should go through what these children are going through. HOPE Church is working to construct a secondary school that will cater to the needs of children like Samuel and Amos.

Partner with us to make this a reality.

Marie 1

Meet Marie, a single mother of 3. Marie is an incredible person. In this photo, Marie is putting in electrical conduits in the wall of the guest house under construction. In a society as such with limited opportunities for women, Maria pushed herself to attend vocational school to become an electrician as a means of her and her 3 children support.

Marie told me that she’s usually passed over for little contracts that should enable her to  earn support herelt and her children mainly because she is a woman.

Marie loves the Lord and serves the local Church faithfully. Partner with us as we work to empower more women like Maris.
